The Najil Cab Foundation (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a registered Colombian nonprofit foundation (fundación sin ánimo de lucro) dedicated to the conservation of stingless bees (abejas sin aguijón) and biodiversity education. Our NIT is registered with the Colombian government.

2. Use of Our Website

Donations made through our website are voluntary contributions to support our conservation mission. By making a donation, you acknowledge that:

  • Donations are processed securely through our payment providers (Wompi, powered by Bancolombia).
  • All donations are used to fund our conservation programs, operational costs, and educational initiatives.
  • Donations are non-refundable, except in cases of proven unauthorized transactions or processing errors. Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days to info@najilcabfoundation.org.
  • We will provide donation receipts upon request for tax purposes where applicable.
  • Recurring donations may be cancelled at any time by contacting us.

4. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, photographs, videos, graphics, logos, and design elements — is the property of the Najil Cab Foundation or its content creators and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may:

  • View and share our content for personal, non-commercial, and educational purposes with proper attribution.
  • Link to our website from other websites.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

5. Third-Party Integrations

Our website integrates with third-party services to enhance functionality:

  • TikTok (via Login Kit and Content Posting API): We use TikTok’s developer tools to connect authorized accounts and publish conservation-related video content. By connecting your TikTok account through our website, you authorize us to access your basic profile information and publish content on your behalf, in accordance with the scopes you approve during the TikTok authorization process. You may revoke this access at any time through your TikTok account settings.
  • Wompi: Payment processing for donations. Subject to Wompi’s Terms of Service.
  • Google Analytics and Jetpack: Website analytics. See our Privacy Policy for details.

We are not responsible for the terms, policies, or practices of third-party services.

6. Chatbot (“Meli”)

Our website features an AI-powered chatbot assistant named Meli. Meli provides general information about the Najil Cab Foundation and our conservation work. Please note:

  • Meli’s responses are generated by artificial intelligence and may not always be accurate or complete.
  • Meli does not provide legal, financial, or professional advice.
  • Conversations with Meli are logged in anonymized form for service improvement. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7. User Content

If you submit content to our website (such as contact form messages, comments, or chatbot interactions), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and process that content for the purposes of operating our website and responding to your inquiries.
